I took my inspiration from the Lord of the Ring trilogy.

I did everything in Photoshop, even the Castle and then I applied differents layers of images on grid in XSI to give the illusion of depth.

Gorgeous. Your right on the money with the whole Lord of the Rings imagery. It looks like something from the Kingdom of Gondor and I think Tolkien himself would be the first to agree with me. Well done indeed.

I spent a great deal of time as a child on a farm in the foothills of the Drakensberg mountains..Natal, South Africa.
There are castles like this in my dreams (the nice ones ;) )

Wow, this is amazing. Do you mean that Drakensberg Mountains exist for real? Because when I did this artwork, I was looking for a title and I decided to use a name from my Spam email folder.
